Foals 2008
This year we
have five foals due which we are really looking forward to. Please
follow the highlighted links to find out more about each stallion
or mare. We would like to thank Mr and Mrs Low-Mitchell
of Balcormo Stud and the Scotland A.I. Service for their help
in getting our mares

Winnie
(Weltmeyer) 16.2hh Hanoverian mare in foal to Quaterback

Winnie is in foal to the very exciting young
stallion Quaterback. He was Bundeschampion of three year old
riding horses in 2006 with the highest scores for his trot
and canter. The outside test riders in Warendorf even gave
him the dream score of 10.0. Prior to this test he had won
several tests for young riding horses. He was also the winner
of his 30-day test with a final score of 9.14 in dressage,
an 8.43 for jumping and an overall score of 8.89. Quaterback
has unbelievably dynamic movements and is also of outstanding
type.
Quaterback comes from one of the most successful
mare lines of modern day. His dam Passionata is a half-sister
of the
World Champion and double Bundeschampion, Poetin. Her full
brothers Samba Hit I to IV produced superb presentations
at the Bundeschampionat – Samba Hit I was also a finalist
in the 2006 Nürnberg Burgpokal and the sire of Samba’s
Diamond who became the Champion Stallion of the licensing
in Berlin-Brandenburg and Sachsen-Anhalt that same year.
Quaterback's successful advanced level sire Quaterman also
participated in several Bundeschampionats and is deemed one
of the best sires for passing on excellent movement. The
grandsire Quando Quando took 15th place at the World Championships
in Aachen in 2006 under Kristy Oatley-Nist. Quaterback's
pedigree is geared for performance from all sides.
Quaterback's first season produced foals that immediately
qualified for the German Foal Championships and were accepted
to the Elite Auction in Vechta.
Winnie's sire, the great stallion Weltmeyer, needs no introduction.
He was 1998 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and has produced
many graded sons, performance offspring and high priced horses.
Winnie's dam sire is Bogenschuetze who is by the foundation
stallion Bolero sire of the famous Brentano. Winnie's sister
was bred to Brentano and the foal was sold in 2005 at the
Elite Auction to the USA. The Weltmeyer /Bogenschuetze cross
has produced the dressage horses Wild Wild West and Wandango
and is in the dam line of the fabulous new stallion, from
Paul Schockemöhle's stables, Sarkozy by Sandro Hit.
Bogenschuetze also features in the dam line of Greenoaks
Dundee.
This foal comes from superb dressage lines, will be a chestnut
and is eagerly awaited. |

Surprice
is a graded Knabstrupper mare by the TB stallion Underworld.
She has super movement and is a tall leggy mare. Ice was purchased
specifically to cross with our Knabstrupper stallions to produce
quality Sporthorse type Knabstruppers.
This foal will be classed a Main book and purebred Knabstrupper
with 75% Knabstrupper blood in the 3rd generation and 25% TB
blood. |

Bess
is a traditional eventing bred British Sporthorse. Her sire
Pulsingh xx has produced many successful event, dressage
and show horses of outstanding quality. His offspring include
the BYEH winner and four star event horse Midnight Magic.
Bess's full brother is Wilderness who came 13th BYEH final
and has been
placed at Intermediate level eventing as a six year old
in 2007. Bess is a quality mare with a beautiful head. She
had good straight
paces and a bold clean jump with super technique.

Beautiful leggy bright bay filly with blaze and
two white socks. Excellent paces and conformation. Super
dressage or event prospect.

Dramiro
is by the world famous Ramiro Z whose bloodlines can be found
in most top competition horses of today. Dramiro's
dam Zolinda is also beautifully bred being by the international
showjumper Joost and she has produced three approved stallions.
Dramiro has a superb temperament and excellent paces. His
offspring are to be found all over the world, from Texas
to Ireland, Italy and South Africa, doing well in dressage,
showing, jumping and eventing. |

is a superb graded Knabstrupper mare. She has been awarded
two silver medals for her offspring. This will be another
purebred Knabstrupper foal eligible for main book registration.
